Text:I’m worried too. No, but if I had, I’d kill him.
Jaime smiled. “Of course. When’s his flight land?”
“I don’t know, he said he’ll text me with the info later.” Devin says with a somewhat smile. At least she was seeing the two people she now trusted the most again.
Jaime smiled. “I promise everything’s gonna be okay.” She said, offering her friend more ice cream.
Haha You still love it though right? I mean, you know you always have a place with us.

Jaime smiled. “I can handle that ass hole. I really can’t believe he just stood me up like that. You don’t need to worry about him or Joe. You just think about getting better.”
“Alright, I’ll try. My only motivation right now for walking is so that I can punch the living daylights out of them.” Devin says, through gritted teeth. She rarely got angry, and violence was not in her nature. “Hey, Darren is visiting, can you pick him up from the airport when he lands?” she asks.
Jaime smiled. “Of course. When’s his flight land?”
Yeah. It does. But what can ya do? ANyway, what have you been up to?
Jaime nodded. “I think you should do what makes you happy. You can find someone better for you. I promise you’re gonna find someone worthy of you. And I’m always gonna be here for you Dev. I promise.”
“He took everything away from me. We had our whole future planned out, the names of our kids, the dog we’ll have, and now it’s all just gone.” Devin says, stray tears falling. “I have to get away from here. Thanks Jaime, and if I can, I’ll go kill Joey for you.”
Jaime smiled. “I can handle that ass hole. I really can’t believe he just stood me up like that. You don’t need to worry about him or Joe. You just think about getting better.”
Dev found a picture of Joe kissing another girl. He hasn’t been to see her at all in like a really long time. Joey and I were supposed to have a movie date at my house the other night, and he completely stood me up.
“You are gonna get out of this hospital. You’re gonna walk again. And I don’t care if I have to move you by myself. You can come stay with me.” Jaime said. She wasn’t going to let those guys beat her or Devin.
“I gave him so many chances, and he hasn’t even called or showed up to explain himself.” Devin says, hearing the monitors beep faster and going crazy. She tries to calm herself down, “Jaime, I think I’m going to move back to California, with Evy.”
Jaime nodded. “I think you should do what makes you happy. You can find someone better for you. I promise you’re gonna find someone worthy of you. And I’m always gonna be here for you Dev. I promise.”
